Sorry I'm already quitting!

Okay that sounds a bit drastic, but I've modified my new year's goal. I realized after only a few of these entries that my life just isn't super exciting for the rest of the world, and really the only ones interested in our daily life is going to be my own little family. I'm shifting the goal to writing in my journal briefly everyday, but I do resolve to post to the blog more.

I'm wondering if anyone else has love/hate relationships with blogs. I love love love to read blogs and keep up with people, but I do not love maintaining my own blog. Does anyone else have this experience? I've never really considered myself a super private person, but I do feel a bit self conscious sometimes when I attempt to share what's going on in our lives. I think truthfully I consider myself quite a nerd, and by thinking of sharing what's going on I fear that I'm only revealing how nerdy I truly am with everyone. :) So there it is. If I can overcome these mixed emotions I'm dealing with :) I will hopefully be able to strike a good balance and post some of our fun memories online to share in efforts to keep in touch with dear friends and family.

Hey, good effort. It was fun to read some of the things you are doing! I am finding that my world is completely boring even to myself sometimes and I really don't feel like saying anything about it. But I keep plugging on because it doesn't feel like I have time to do any other kind of record keeping. I'm sad I didn't see you when I was in UT. Your kids are so cute! Let me know next time you are in MN for longer. Maybe the MN reunion Marshall is planning?

Sometimes I just wish people would post pictures - no need to explain nothing fancy just like a snapshot of your life.

I'm a blogger who does it and will eventually print it like a journal of our family.

If you quit, we'd miss you. Then again, move to Minnesota and you'd never have to blog again. :)

Marian, I'm all about even some pictures once in a while. No pressure either way. Also, you can make your blog private and just invite the family and friends you guys want to - that's what we do. We miss you guys.
